FAQ

FAQ

HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?

If you purchase through the online store, you can use Paypal or Stripe to pay via credit card. However, if your painting is larger than 30”x30”, please get in touch with me first. We’ll need to work out shipping through Craters & Freighters and the cost will need to be adjusted. Also, if you’re local, then you can just pay upon delivery with credit card, cash or check.

Commissions will be invoiced through Freshbooks and you can pay with Paypal, or send a check.

DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS?

All sales are final. However, if there is a legit issue with your painting, please get in touch and let’s chat about it.

HOW DOES SHIPPING WORK?

I use USPS to ship anything smaller than 30”x30”. Anything larger will be available for pick-up at my studio, or we will use Craters & Freighters.

Larger paintings can also be shipped as rolled canvas and you can have it stretched upon arrival.

I ship once a week, usually on a Wednesday or Thursday morning.

Oil paintings take longer to dry, so the delivery of a commission may be contingent on that factor. If you’ve purchased an oil painting, I’ll keep you updated on that.

Watercolors will be shipped in boxes or padded envelopes with cardboard sleeves.

SHOW DO COMMISSIONS WORK?

You want to get a commissioned piece of art? AWESOME. We should definitely have a chat about it.

Your commission costs will be determined by the size, medium, and subject. Essentially though, your commission will cost twice the amount of a ready made painting.

CAN YOU PAINT AN INTERIOR OR EXTERIOR MURAL?

If you’re interested in commissioning an interior or exterior mural, the pricing metric will depend on a lot of factors, like location, subject, and medium. Please get in touch with me and we’ll set up a meeting to discuss specifics.

DO YOU SELL PRINTS?

I do not currently sell prints online. You can find limited edition prints at West Elm in Oklahoma City and Tulsa.

IS THERE ANYWHERE I CAN SEE YOUR WORK IN PERSON?

I have exhibitions semi-frequently, but am not currently represented by a gallery. That said, you are welcome to come visit my studio in OKC and see my work. Please message me and we’ll set up an appointment. You can also visit my murals in OKC.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO HANG YOUR ART IN MY STORE/RESTAURANT/CAFE?

Possibly. Send me information about your establishment and we’ll talk about it.

CAN YOU MAKE A MUG/PHONE CASE/PILLOW WITH XYZ PAINTING ON IT?

I’m so honored that people love my art so much that they want to see it on products. I used to have my art on Society 6, but ultimately felt like I’d rather focus on original works, and limited edition prints.

DO YOU LICENSE YOUR ARTWORK?

I do not currently license any of my work for prints. If you’re interested in licensing a painting, please get in touch and we can discuss it.

CAN I SCAN IN AN ORIGINAL AND MAKE A PRINT FOR A FRIEND?

Do not attempt to create or sell reproductions of my art, please. Everything an artist creates is protected by the Visual Artist Rights Act.

I SEE THAT YOU DO BRANDING, LOGOS, AND CUSTOM ILLUSTRATIONS. CAN I HIRE YOU FOR THAT?

Absolutely! Please visit COOPERHOUSE and send us a message about your request.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO DONATE YOUR ART FOR XYZ CHARITY?

Possibly. I’ve participated in selected auctions and charities that align with my values and I don’t mind these requests. Just don’t get your feelers hurt if I say no. I can’t donate all my artwork or I’d have to live in a van down by the river.

WHAT IS YOUR DREAM PROJECT?

I’d love to collaborate on public art in almost any capacity at any time. I have a personal goal to complete at least one public art installation per year.

DO YOU NEED MODELS?

Yes! I always need models for my projects. Please send me your modeling portfolio and I’ll be in touch.

CAN I INTERVIEW YOU FOR MY BLOG/MAGAZINE/PUBLICATION?

Totally. I love giving interviews, particularly about things like the impact of public art on communities, and what it's like to be a professional artist and designer. Hit me up!

WHAT KIND OF PAINT SUPPLIES DO YOU USE?

I don't have a comprehensive list of supplies that I use, but basically everything I get is Porch Art Supply, Utrecht, and Michael's.
